  Early check-in
  Our standard check-in time is 3:00 p.m. If the room is available earlier we will be able to proceed with an early check-in. In case of such an early check in before 13.00 p.m. the additional charge will be € 250,-. The only way to secure an early check-in is to book another night prior to arrival. Our reception is 24/7 open.

  Late Check-out
  It is possible to prologue your stay in case we do not need the room urgently. Our check-out time is 11:00 am Late check out should be requested at the reception at least 1 day before. If you are staying longer than until 12:00 pm you will be charged an additional fee of 250,- EUR.

  Parking lot
  Private car parking facilities are available in our indoor garage, but spaces are limited and subject to availability. Cost is 5.000,– ISK per day.

  Possibility to store luggage
  We can store your luggage after your check-out until the time you are leaving for the airport.

  Housekeeping (stay overs, arranging the time)
  Our housekeeping service contains every day room cleaning between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

  Food at the Black Pearl: breakfast and mini bar
  We offer a continental breakfast which is served in your room. The cost of breakfast is 35,00 EUR for an adult and 17,00 EUR for a child (under 12 age).

  Before you are going to plan any trips, please be noticed that the weather in Iceland can be unpredictable and is changing very quickly. That is why we recommend you to check all the time the Icelandic Met Office website. If you are going to travel by car, please check as well (road.is), and check please: safetravel.is.

  Northern Lights, when/where (winter season)
  You can see northern lights when the solar wind passes through the magnetic field of Earth. You can check aurora forecast here. Please, bear in mind that auroras are only visible when it is dark and in areas without clouds. It is never dark in the summer, therefore best months for aurora hunters are from September to March.

  Whale watching (summer/autumn)
  You can go to a whale watching tour all year round in Iceland, however in winter some trips may be cancelled because of the weather conditions.

  Recommendations for trips/tours/activities/indoor activities (especially with bad weather conditions or when it’s dark)
  Our receptionist will be happy to assist you with choosing a tour for you. You can also choose an activity through our tour desk.

  You can find information about weather in Iceland on the website of Iceland’s Met Office.

  Road conditions
  Some roads are closed in winter. We strongly recommend to check your itinerary with Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration’s website.

  Airport transfer
  We can organize private transport from and to the airport. It is also possible to book a bus through Tourdesk.
